I’ve never needed one and focused more on projects than shop, but I’ve been sitting on many different kinds of material and have furniture  projects that might be beneficial to:making one.I’ve been looking at mak8jgba plant stand with Boo ply , but have enough to make a nice table saw sled as well. I also have some metal track left from a trophy case from my commercial days..

Not looking to buy a lot to build this , but interested in idea on poor man budget shop builds..

I made a miter sled for cutting crown molding once. It had adjustable front fences to hold the crown at the correct spring angle. Worked well when I first made it, but even plywood moves with humidity swings, to some extent. After a year or so, it was out so bad, I had to scrap it.

Maybe the bamboo will be a lot more stable.
