Von
My shop cabinet which is going to have pairs of symmetric drawers side-by-side separated by a piece of 3/4" plywood. I started installing the slides in the carcass today when I realized the 1/2" screws were going to collide in the center plywood. I tried to convince myself I could use different holes on the slides to avoid collisions, but couldn't quite convince myself. I ended up offsetting the slides vertically as you see in the photo below. My drawers are 6"+ tall, so I don't expect a 1/2" shift will cause a problem but it does complicate things a little as I will have to keep this in mind installing the slides in the boxes. Is there some more elegant way I should handle this? TIA
BillyJack
We don’t offset, we just use different holes on each drawer guide..
BillyJack
In commercial , unless you have CNC, we will! use a right/left pattern for the center 5 1/4 partition on the center..
