Chuck M
I started my first bandsaw box over the weekend. I used a piece of apple that I saved from the firewood pile. (I BBQ with applewood) It has 1 coat of BLO in these pictures. I applied a coat of poly last night and will give it few more coats. I know I was a little messy with the glue, and the front and back aren't even, but I don't have a lot of experience with a bandsaw and this was a fun way to practice. Also the bandsaw in need of some major tuning before I do much more with it.
sbarton22
I think it's pretty slick for your first try. If I ever get around to trying a bandsaw box, I hope I do half as well.
Texfire
Found a great video on the process, had no idea they were that simple to make. Going to have to try one too. http://www.woodworkingformeremortals.com/2010/05/how-to-make-bandsaw-boxes.html
Chuck M
Texfire: that is where I first saw how to make bandsaw boxes.
raruss1
Very Nice, you won't have trouble finding someone wanting it. My first one was net done and the whole family jockeyed for it.

My wife saw it and asked if I had more apple wood. She wants 2 more to go with this one to put on her dresser in our room.

Chuck M
I finally got the box finished. It had been to cool to spray poly.
