nateswoodworks
Are you talking about Brazilian Koa? That is what tigerwood is usually referring to. I have never used it but I did a little research a while back because my inlaws were thinking about doing their floors with it. I know I read that the color darkens quite a bit through time and it is about the same hardness as the oaks. I would love to hear how it works from someone who has used it before, very nice looking wood. Nate

Nate Brazilian Koa looks right never got the right name i cant imagine anyone would name a lumber tiger wood. but that is what my friend called it. its has the same weight as oak but has closed poors. going to make a small box out of it and white oak as a gift to the person who gave it to me. im going to play with it a bit and send you a message letting you know what i think.
