He wanted a set of Pine tables to match a TV unit I had made for him a few months earlier. I made these out of some spare Pine I had in the shop and finished the tables in an acrylic varnish. bois Posted August 22, 2011 Report Share Posted August 22, 2011 Hard to really add much critique given that these were made to match an existing piece. One thought occurred to me though, as these get smaller, the components stay the same dimensions. In particular, the smallest table looks a bit blocky given that the width of the legs is greater relative to the size of the piece. I may have toyed with the idea of using progressively narrower legs and stretchers so the proportions remained the same even though the pieces got smaller and smaller.
