nikbrown
I just came back from Oregon and took a few really nice panoramic pictures. I'm going to frame one of them and send them to the friends we traveled with. I would like to frame with a species from the region. Anyone know an good online dealer or lumber supplier form that region that sells myrtlewood lumber and is willing to ship? I'm going to make 3 frames. I'm thinking i need about 10/BF and I'll probably need 48" long stock.
Onboard
Here’s a Woodfinder search result for Myrtle wood. Woodfinder isn’t always accurate nor does it necessarily include all suppliers but it’s a place to start. This one sounded interesting, but there are a lot more to look through in the search results. Oh that kills me. I was in Gold beach!!!!! But alas I spent all my time with friends as opposed to wood hunting... so not time waisted. I think I found a woodworker out there that will sell me part of his stash for a decent price. Thanks for the help!
