duckkisser Posted September 27, 2011 Author Report Share Posted September 27, 2011 ok i tried out the ebony and it works great. took longer then i thought maybe my vinigar is old or i need a stronger type. going to try apple cyder vinigar next since i think it has tannons in it already. but if anyone is looking to blacken there wood this is great and it cost next to nothing to make it. duckkisser Posted September 28, 2011 Author Report Share Posted September 28, 2011 it realy does work well but do it after you sand because i sanded it and it turns grey realy fast.plust it bleads through. still need to see how well it finishes going to use poly since anything that sinks in would not work since its already flooded.
