jorgesinghdh
Dear Friends, I would like to know if there is a problem (health, looks, drying time, etc) using exterior polyurethane indoors? I want to apply polyurethane to a wood that will be indoors (bedroom) but in the sunset some sunlight enters the room washing part of the wood. I am concerned about partial discoloration because of that sunset sunlight. Thanks.
AceHoleInOne
Outdoor anything is formulated for outdoors. It's a softer finish that expands and contracts with wood during dry and wet, warm and cold conditions. I would recommend purchasing some blinds or something for the window or have UV glass installed may help to slow it down. The sun just fades things, wall paint, bed spreads, years and years of sun just does. Outdoor finish "can" have a sort of a rubbery feel to it and dust and dirt and skin oils, the finish probably just get grungier over time. That's just me. dwacker
UV inhibitors protect the finish from yellowing they dont protect the bleaching affect on the wood and stain. Don

dwacker
I doubt its much different health wise unless you have a little one chewing on it. Don
