hollowing tools and other lathe toys?

geting my tax refund and like all responsible adults im going to spend it on toys. after a few things that need to get done ill have 280 dollers left over.

i can eather get my ipad fixed 260 dollers wow thats alot

or i can get a new lathe bed extension $159 for my delta

what are your recomendations? or which brand do you know that works well. please give me your expierence so i dont waste money. depending on what kind of tools are out there and what everyone recomends wil make the decision about if ill get ipad fixed or buy new tools

maybe ill get a decorating tool if you know of any others out there please let me know.
