PurpLev
added some nice features to PRO I must say. nothing extreme, but seems like an easier builtin workflow however.... like so many other developers - no support for PowerPC. so I won't be using it. I guess I'll have to stick with SU7
Bob Lang
I saw a brief demo yesterday of the new features in Pro while at the 3D Base Camp in Boulder. Solid modeling is being added, and the good news of that is for those who want to add detailed joinery. You will be able to put a tenon on a rail, place the rail where it goes on a leg and with three clicks add a perfectly placed, perfectly sized mortise in the leg. In SketchUp 7, this can be done, but it is a more complicated process. Bob Lang
