Larenzo
I've watched that and most of Carl's videos. I've picked up more than a few tips from him, as I have from Marc's videos. I've been meaning to drop by a local body shop and see if they might have some paint scrapings like those in their paint booth. As the previous post mentioned, they would make some nice pens if you could get pieces big enough for it, and it would have to be acrylic paint to get the same effect. Ben H
Good stuff. I think I would have cleared it on the lathe, then polished the clear to make it shine
Xaromir
Personally i don't see the need for a clear coat. Micromesh thingies 1800 grid to 6000 to 12000grid and it will have a nicer gloss than one could ever achieve with a clear coat. In the end - it's paint and should be easy to polish with stuff like micromesh. I do my nails with micromesh pads when i go out for a fancy diner.
