BenBreeg
Hey guys! So far everything I've done is pine projects. I've done some edge gluing to make wider boards for a closet system, did dados for the shelves in that project and a cabinet for my garage. I've done lap joints for the frames of my overbuilt workbenches (not woodworking ones, just a general one and a reloading bench) with the router but that's about it. I have a General 50-185 table saw, compound sliding miter saw, router with fixed and plunge bases, drill, etc. I've done a ton of remodeling but little real woodworking. The phrase my wife fears most, aside from, "It's going into overtime!", is, "I'll just make that!" I get it done but I'm an engineer so I like things to be perfect. In the next five years (I like to plan ahead ) I want to build a house and would like to do the cabinets and vanities myself. That's kind of the goal to build my skillset in the near future. Gregory Paolini
Ben, Welcome! Once upon a time, I was supposed to be a mechanical engineer - Funny thing about designing and milling aluminum and steel - It doesn't expand and contract with the seasons - Wood is "Fun" that way. Best, Gregory
