adambaum
Marc, The app could use some navigational controls inside the individual features. In particular, using the app to browse the Woodtalk forums is difficult. If you view a post via the app, the "Back" button throws you back to the app's main menu, not back up a level on Woodtalk. It's much easier to just browse the forums in Safari. I am also experiencing a fair number of crashes. Don't know what else to call them. I'll be in the app and select a feature and then get dumped back into my iPad's main screen. Happens every few uses. Adam
thewoodwhisperer
Hey Adam. There actually are navigational controls inside things like the forum. They are just subtle. When you go a few pages in, look at the bottom of the app and you'll see a couple of forward and back arrows in the black bar. This will move you forward and back through the pages within the forum. The Back button at the top of the app will always take you back to the top menu of the app itself, so only click that when you are finished with your browsing session. As for the crashes, I'll let Nicole know and see what we can do about it. We'll check the crash reports.
nicolespag
Hi Adam I had a number of people test the app out on all 4 versions of iPad with no crash reports. Could you tell me what iOS version you are running? Thanks so much! Nicole
Jfitz
It's crashed a few times on my iPhone as well (iOS 4.3.3). Maybe 3 or 4 total. Overall though its a good app - it makes perusing the site from my phone a snap.
thewoodwhisperer
I had a couple crashes myself. But it was only when I was clicking too quickly from one thing to another. The app is loading some rather large RSS feeds so if you move around too fast you can easily overwhelm it. Thankfully, so far, those are the only crashes I've seen. adambaum
If its the info from Settings, About.....then I am using 6.0.1 (10a527). Adam
adambaum
Aha! I see those arrows now. Unfortunately, I am trained to look for controls along the top. I'm a windows/android guy who got an iPad a few months ago just to see what the fuss was about.

estesbubba
I'm getting a blank screen on the viewer projects on ipad. The loadmask shows then goes away and leaves a blank page.
thewoodwhisperer
Give it another try. We were slowly increasing the number of items in the feed just to find the upper limit. I think we found it. Let me know if it works the next time you load it up.
