jgruiz
I joined the guild, not too long ago, with the main purpose to see the videos to build this table. This is my first furniture project ever. Wood is quartersawn white oak, drawer dovetails are my first attempt ever at hand cut dovetails. The videos from the guild were so much help for me to complete this project, thanks Mark!

jgruiz
Very nice. That quarter sawn oak looks fantastic. What did you finish it with? Thanks Terry. The finish is General Finishes Oil Based Gel Stain – Candlelite (two coats) and General Finishes Arm-R-Seal Varnish as the top coat (two coats to the whole table and two additional coats to the table top only, sanding in between coats). I used Bulls Eye Sealcoat Shellac Sealer inside the drawer.

Tbeaulieu
I really like your table! I've build a number of things from white oak, mostly for the shop. I got a a whole bunch of it for cheap a while back, so it's been my go to wood. For some reason (rookie) I never thought to stain it! Thanks for the inspiration and again ... great job!
