robjeffking
I started out by making three 20x12x12 poplar boxes. Cut them down by 2/3 doubling the quanity to six. Used walnut bases with a birch bottom. Walnut upper trim and handles. Finished everything with a wipe on poly. Next year with more time Ill mortise the handles and use a finished leg to the bases. The panel glue ups were supposed to be stained to elimnate the contrasting wood but the clock but the kybosh on that idea. The picture was taken while the wood was still wet when it dries it will lighten up some.
