William Russick
Since I'm a beginner in a room full of veterans, I figure there's no better place to learn a bit. I bought a brand new Kreg master jig at a flea market for a buck and knew it was a calling. Are there any books or any kind of online information someone could point me into so I could advance my knowledge? One bit of information I'm trying to rap my head around is finishing, veneer, lacquer, vanish, epoxy and so so many more. I've been watching Marks video's and he got to finishing and such. Then about making your own and mixing this and that. Where'd this all come from? What can you mix together and what can't you? I don't want to annoy anyone in here, just point me in the right direction, please? But the question I really just have to know is....How did YOU get started in this craft? Where did you learn your skills?
reclaimedwoodblog
Welcome. I started learning the craft in Mr. Johnson’s woodworking class in high school. I keep learning with each project. Greg
