Filling knots in table

Tape off a good area around the knot to be filled. Pour in the epoxy, blow a little warm air on it to release any bubbles. When it hardens, carefully pare it as close to flush with the surface as possible, using a well-honed chisel. Sand and buff all you can before removing the tape, and you may be able to avoid a complete refinishing.
