collinb
Anyone here use one of these? I got this at an auction a few years ago and will finally be putting it to use this summer as the garage indoor shop begins to take shape. Woodenskye
I haven't used, but have heard good things about them. Is yours made in China or Europe (Switzerland, Austria or Germany), when they changed the place of production, the quality dipped a bit. collinb
It is, as far as I have discerned, the original Swiss version.
Woodenskye
That's a great vise you have then. If you don't like it, you should be able to sell easily.
Tom Crawford
I bought one at least 40 years ago. It my first vice for woodworking and was great. It has moved with me several times and is still in my shop and gets used a couple times a year.
Chet
I have a swiss made one that I have had for close to 33 years and it still gets used. I was always amazed at how much you could clamp down on something and still not mar it.
