ben_r_
lol looks like Shaper Origin has a little competition on the way. Cute idea. Now if they could figure out dust collection.

BonPacific
Interesting idea, interesting implementation... But I'm questioning what it's for. If it's primarily for fitting large beams... There's not a lot of market. It seams like most timberframing is either CNC'd from the factory, or hand cut on the construction site for a reason (Amish etc). Am I wrong? If it's for furniture joinery... I don't see any major benefit to this over the Domino or Multi-router. The Shaper Origin is built for breaking down sheet goods and a little bit of surface carving. Anyone have an idea?
Chet
I could see a contractor who specializes in timber frame remodel, repair or add on where you want to maintain the style. Once you are familiar with the machine set up it would be faster then hand cut on site.
