James R Pull
This is a little piece of furniture I built in school, I am in Cabinetry and woodworking technology at college. I am 47 years old and really enjoying school this time around!! This is a neat little cabinet that has a hidden compartment to hide the liqour in and the story is it was designed for Al Capone in the days of prohibition. I made it out of Okoumé and stained with classic walnut.

chopnhack
Nice piece, it looks like that okoume took the stain fairly well. Did you have to pretreat for blotching?
