duckkisser Posted May 8, 2013 Report Share Posted May 8, 2013 im looking to buy or build a tool rest to go inside small bowls and jars to suport my tools close to the inside walls of my turnings. im tired of my tool rest leaving my tool suspended so far out that i have a hard time controling my cuts. do i want to get a captive tool rest system? do i want to get a curved tool rest? a short thin tool rest what do you guys recomend since im tired of the lack of control from turning this way.
