BuilderBill
Well, wanted to do one of those fancy embedded videos but I guess this'll just have to do: http://www.lagunatools.com/videos?bcpid=68096888001&bclid=67922735001&bctid=88829501001 I haven't checked the price, if anyone does please don't tell me... Best, Bill
Vic
yea, nice huh!?! That's how I got my Excalibur for $150...my old neighbor, who was a cabinet maker upgraded to a MiniMax slider. This Excalibur does pretty well for the price )
PaulMarcel
Bill, dude! it's just $250 and they'll honor the HF 20%-off coupon! When I look at sliders, I can see their utility in a cabinet shop where you work sheets all the time, but it seems like they would be a nuisance for, say, ripping a straight edge on a piece of hardwood with unsquare ends (so jointed flat, planed, 1 edge jointed and you are trying to make the parallel edge). Okay, the video just got to where you can remove the crosscut fence, but still looks like it would be awkward. I still like my TS-75 for panels... yeah, I know it isn't the same thing, but try putting that Laguna in a Systainer!
Onboard
I did find a price, but I won’t say what it is. However, if you’re curious you can peek here. They seem to have a CNC version as well which (if you dare) look here. Panel saw price aside, I’m more curious what it would cost to have one of these behemoths shipped and delivered to your shop. Oh, and I hope you’re wired for 3 phase. Beautiful machine for sure!
