Vic
Sure, it's a blog. But, it's our woodworking community. It's nice to see Marc getting kudos for what he and Nicole have built and for being the people I've had the pleasure to get to know over the last four years, or so. Atta boy, Marc! "It’s not all about business, either. You actually end up making friends out there in cyberspace! And as I said earlier, it amazes me how vibrant the woodworking community is. I’ve seen people pull together to help online friends who have cancer, people offer advice and encouragement when someone’s project seems to be failing, and people just making each other laugh and smile every day. (OK – that sounds hokey, but it’s actually true. Think of Marc Spagnuolo, The Wood Whisperer, and you’ll know what I mean)."------------------http://workbenchmarketing.com/blog/
thewoodwhisperer
Wow, thanks for posting that Vic. I wasn't aware of that post let alone the fact that I was mentioned. Coolio!
Bobby Slack
May I say ... like" Marc created this community which helps me with my obsession. Also this community helped me to get over my avoidance behaviour. Without Marc and Nicole creating this Infrastructure I would never move forward. Thank you guys and ... Kudos Sure, it's a blog. billboard
I fully agree. A round of applause for Marc and Nicole. Just as this website has grown with the guild and this forum, so has my love for woodworking. When evever I think of taking a break from the shop, Marc comes out with something new and exciting and I can't wait to get covered in sawdust. Guest Trace
Since "retiring" I have been in my shop a lot. The Wood whisperer site keep me going out there even more. I have enjoyed the interaction with others here. I have yet to see naything remotly resembling a put down that was not tongue in cheek. The replys to postings are informative and entertaining. I thank Marc and everyone involved.
thewoodwhisperer
That's because when people get mean, we kick butt and take names! Thoughtful critiques and lively discussions are always welcome. But mean spirited trolling and pointless hateful comments just aren't tolerated here. Most people know this by now and the ones who have a problem with it go to the other forums that allow that kind of nonsense.

thewoodwhisperer
Yeah he is! What a noob! And he doesn't even come into this forum so he'll never see this anyway. Well, until he needs to pick out a forum thread to talk about on the next Wood Talk Online Radio, lol. Love you Matt!
