Times have unfortunately changed, I remember fearing getting smacked so I just behaved.I can remember my Dad used to smack us and when we complained asked what was that for, his response was "that's for nothin, just wait til you do somethin". I remember my mom and aunt left my cousin and I somewhere because we were throwing crab apples at each other that we were picking off this tree and wouldn't get in the car. They came back 5 minutes later as they drove around the corner to keep an eye on us and teach us a lesson. Lesson learned, when you're 9 years old, get in the damn car because you don't have a way to get around.
