mr.graham
My local lumber yard is having an end of year sale, and being relatively new to the practice of woodworking I wanted to get the experts advice on what looks like a good deal. I'm probably going to let this year's sale pass on by without any purchases, but I'd really appreciate the feedback from the community. Also, do California prices seem higher than other areas of the country. Anyway, check it out: http://www.jackelenterprises.com/sale_page.html Cheers! Bombarde16
Cursory glance, the domestics ("native woods locally milled") look a little high for green lumber; but the sale items look promising enough to make a visit if you're local. It looks OK on (virtual) paper, but it'd all depend on the individual boards they're trying to get rid of. Not something you can decide up or down based on a URL. mr.graham
Thanks for your input Rob, depending on how the morning goes, I may head down there and take a look.
