The office is in a sketchy part of town. Everything around here closes early. I now understand the issue that I see reported sometimes about lack of grocery stores in downtown areas. I was going to visit Highland Woodworking after work yesterday. I've bought from them regularly over the years, including an order just a week ago (tooling for the sculpted rocker Guild project). Got on their website at the hotel to get the address and found that they close at 6 PM during the week. Germany is known as a service desert, but downtown Atlanta takes the cake. Looking forward to getting back to Texas. Sorry Atlanta, I tried.
Lucasd2002
At least we don't have any traffic problems. I think downtown (not midtown/buckhead) gives a poor impression of the area. If I only saw downtown, I would not want to stay here either. I live very near the Alpharetta Woodcraft and they are open 7 days a week, which is nice. I do struggle to make it to lumberyards during business hours. Basically, I have go first thing on Saturday morning.
