Frank Speyerer
I am interested in a dovetail jig I can use on my Router table. I have found the MLCS, the General, the Keller and the Katie. All of these jigs I mentioned seem to be identical in function but not in price. Is less expensive better in this case? Which do you recommend? Are there any other jigs you may suggest?
TBaiga
Charles Neil has a new jig out, there's also the Leigh, Porter-Cable Omnijig, etc. here's an interesting link that might be helpful: http://www.woodshopdemos.com/dtshoot-1.htm you can also search on here for previous threads. good luck! Frank Speyerer
Thanks for the link Tom. However, I am looking for a jig to cut dovetails on the router table. I don't think you can do that with the Leigh or Porter-Cable Omnijig. I believe Charles Neil used a Katie before he came out with his own design. I'm waiting to hear feedback on his product. TBaiga
saw router...not the table part. i've been looking at jigs you bring the router to...not to the router. reviews and videos are great, but need some hands on to really assess ease of set-up and use. my local rockler has theirs, the omnijig and leigh systems. like to get others feedback, think i've read good things here about the katie jig. Frank Speyerer
The Katie jig can be used in a traditional bench top setup with your router in hand or it can be used on a router table.

ChetlovesMer
I am interested in a dovetail jig I can use on my Router table. Just curious, why do you have to cut the dovetails on the router table?
Sac
Why do you ask? Just trying to understand why you want a specific tool to use on the router table. There are plenty of jigs that allow you to make DT with just a router. Not that many for the table. If you help us understand why you want to use a table instead of just a router, then you might get more help.
