Trey9123
I just inherited an old Grizzly Jointer that I don't know anything about. I can not find any type of model number or plate on it. Does anyone have any idea what model this is or how I can figure it out? I would like to see if I can still get parts before I decide to refurbish it. I would appreciate any help I can get.
Coop
Grizz has decent customer service. I bet with a phone call, followed by these pics, they can get you started.
Trey9123
Ok, thanks, I just emailed them the pics. That being said, this one looks pretty old, and this will be my first rebuild. I just had a shop built on my property and am scrounging what I can to fill it. Is it even worth my time and effort to rebuild it? It seems solid but very uncared for. What should I check for to make sure it is not trash? Thanks. JohnG
Before throwing money at it I’d check the infeed and outfeed tables for flatness, check the fence for flatness, and check if the fence to see if it’s relatively consistently square to the bed along the length.
