Hello,

My finance and I have just purchased some beautiful cherry wood rounds for decorative pieces. We would like to preserve the bark on the rounds but are not sure of the best way to do this. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If the round is very dry and still has the bark firmly attaches, you have a chance of keeping it. I wouldn't try anything until the wood is completely dried to match the humidity of your environment.

I have seen people use CPES epoxy sealer to fix the bar in place.
