Joint design -Need helps

[2nd floor]

Saw this joint and would like to use it on an upcoming on g project. The 3 legs are extended through the joint.   What is this joint called and better yet, how is it made?

its the tenon on the outside of the leg that has me baffled.

Chances are that at least one of the extended rails is totally fake.

This video illustrates the interior of a similar joint, but without the extensions. 

@rodger., another forum member, made a table base with a three-way X-brace leg system a while back. I don't recall the project title to search by, but the joint should be very similar to what you want. Perhaps he will pop in and point you in the proper direction.

That’s what I have come up with. Did a quick mockup that looks fine, but had to cut the third leg in 2 to get it in. Should be fine as is is for looks only. Now to tune the setup to tighten the gaps

Thank you, I am pointed in a viable direction at this point.  We will see how it comes out.
