Popular Post rainjer
I designed this air filter cabinet 9-10 months ago an started building it not not much longer after that. I got the frame built and the motor mounted, wired and tested before I had to stop working on it. I started working on it again last week and made a couple design changes. I originally was going to put 3 drawers where I put the door. I decide to change this an put some pull out shelves for my Festool systainers instead. Also the top was originally going to be just a flat top. Now I have decided to make it a t-track top for assembly work. I will also have a movable 20"X20" (maybe 24"X24") Matchfit dovetail grid vertical surface attached to it. I found a 15A smart plug with a time I can use with the blower motor to be able to turn the the air filter on and off with voice commands and set a timer to run for a specific amount of time. Today was a milestone day on the project. the base cabinet is now done and functional. Now I just need to build the top....
Popular Post rainjer
Started filling drawers today. Top right will hold my 23G pin nailer and the nails for my 16G, 18G and narrow crown stapler. Top middle will be for bench cookies, t-track stops and other misc assembly tools. Top left will be layout and marking tools. I will use Kaizen foam to organize them. I am adding sliding tray to hold pencils, pens and marking knives. Inside the door I have 3 sliding shelves. The top I am still undecided on what to put in it. It is only 3" deep. The middle will hold my Domino tenon systainer and my hand planes. I m going to add some foam under the planes to protect the blades. The bottom will hold my Domino 500 systainer and my pop rivet supplies.
