joshuaderck
I was asked to rebuild a broken communion table for a local church. I was simple tasked to use as much of the old as I could but design a new better version. At my day job as a maintenance man we were replacing some old windows and I saw the fram was white oak. I saw an opportunity to use some great wood on this project so I did. I am new to wood working and learned some things by making mockups in pine. The small trefoil detail is a carry over from the old table. THe finish is danish oil and wax.
jimmykx250
very nice work. Simple designs are the best. It highlights the wood and the joinery.

alindsey
Excellent work. Also I just scoured my brain for 10 minutes thinking "Trefoil... trefoil... why is that word so familiar?!" Then it hit me - Girl Scout cookies. So as usual my brain is less on design elements and more on tasty snacks. Now, back to working out the details on my Little Debbie snack cakes storage cabinet.
