MRB
I have a Ridged 4331 I’ve used it a handful of times, relatively new. I was surfacing some pieces then all the sudden it wasn’t pulling the board as well and the blades weren't touching the board at all? I checked that the rollers and blades were spinning as they should. The repeat a cut was on the lowest setting. I removed the cutting head hood to inspect the cutting blades and looked fine. Im a bit baffled by this.
BonPacific
Are the infeed rollers adjustable on that model? If so I'd start by checking they haven't slipped. After that check the chain/belt is in good shape and isn't slipping. It may still spin when not loaded but not have the power to drive the wood forward. JohnG
How thick is the material you are planing? You said it’s on the lowest setting, is the stock too thin? If you are trying to plane thin stock, yoy might want to use a piece of plywood or MDF as a platen to raise the piece up. Also make sure that the depth stop dial isn’t set higher than your piece, preventing you from lowering the cutter head. I have the same planer and haven’t experienced this.
Tpt life
Check the bottom of the work piece and the tables. A little wax might be needed. If anything caught, it may have caused an issue with the adjustments on the cutter head.
