jimmbutterfield
I've got a line on a used Delta 37-190 6" jointer in good condition for $220. I know everyone says to go with an 8", but money and space are both issues. Does anyone have this jointer, and if so, are you happy with it? Does this seem like a reasonable deal? Thanks for any and all input!
tprins
I have the JT360, which I think was the successor to the 37-190. I have been happy with it, but it is certainly not the highest quality tool out there (but it was $300, so what do you expect?). It took some work to get everything setup correctly. If the machine is in good shape $220 seems reasonable. If it is taken care of it should last forever.

Dyami Plotke
$220 sounds like a good deal to me. At that price you can upgrade later & sell the Delta for a very minimal loss.
knotscott
$220 sounds about right if its in nice shape and works well. You're gonna love having a jointer! Stuff's gonna fit from now on!
