duckkisser
I typed this out once and it was both clever and interesting story about how I got this but then computer crashed so I did not want to type it all out again.......neighbor threw out old organ from 70s I pulled up in truck took home ripped out all the guts and got to base frame. I then made my own paneling a new keyboard out of inserted oak and cherry wood into a pine board. The lid was compressed wood but I decided to replace it with striped oak and pine held together with biscuits. The center of the desk has a small cabinet that I made using natural knots to use as a doorknob.
PMR
I think this is a good idea, if you can post a few more clearer pics and tell us what/how you converted things. Thanks Pat

servant74
From the title I was afraid it was an old calliope or small pipe organ. I still like to hear those played. Great use for a cord organ. Even with a less than great camera, put 'extra' lights on it. That helps a lot with picture quality!
