Ads gone wild

Has anyone else seen an invasion of huge ads in here? 

Seems like it started about 2 weeks ago, now i have these giant ads everywhere, and these smaller ads embedded into posts. 

If i remember, there were always some ads, but it seems like they have exploded in both size and number. 

 

Are you guys seeing the same thing?

I haven't noticed, but I'm a sponsor so I don't get "legit" ads, and I use anti-adware extensions that block most ads.  I had forgotten that this forum had ads until you mentioned it.

EDIT: just noticed that my sponsorship had expired, so that doesn't explain why I'm not seeing ads.  Maybe moderators don't get ads, or maybe it's my anti-adware extensions, or something else.  I'll try logging in as a guest. 

EDIT 2: Tried visiting the forum as a guest (not signed it, in a private browser instance) and didn't see any ads.  Where do you see them?  Are you using an app or a browser?

Moderators don't see ads. Sponsors aren't supposed to, either. No idea why there would be a sudden influx of obnoxiousness...

@Beechwood Chip thanks. I use the app, but in Chrome i see the same thing. In an ad blocking browser, they're gone. 

I see them in between posts, especially in the ALL ACTIVITY page. The content of the ads changes daily - they're pretty sketchy usually and not ads from reputable, established companies. The ads are gigantic and dominate the page. 

I tried reinstalling the app, but no dice there. I'll probably just move over to the ad blocking browser and use that moving fwd.

Actually, i stand corrected. I was paying this and it came up for renewal at the end of October and it looks like i have an outdated card on file. 

Thanks fellas, I'll get that updated. These things have been driving me crazy.

Back to normal. Best $10 I'll spend all year. In hindsight the answer was pretty obvious. Thanks again folks.
