Popular Post pkinneb Posted March 28 Popular Post Report Posted March 28 SOLD 4/12/2026 Hammer A3/31 12" jointer planner with straight knives for sale. Includes mobile base and two extra sets of unused knives $3,100. Works excellent and has no issues. I will be more than happy to run it prior to purchase if desired. Will go on FB Market place late next week at a bit higher price. UPDATE: I have been asked by a couple folks why I am selling and it is becuase I purchased a new Hammer A3/31 with the silent-power cutter block. While I love the Tersa straight blades and for 99% of woods they have worked flawlessly, I have decided to upgrade to the new helical head. I work with a fair bit of figured wood (that 1%) and for those the helical style heads just can't be beat. The helical heads are also significantly quieter. The new machine has another feature I am looking forward to as the in and outfeed tables lift together straight up. By the time I looked at the cutter head with installation it was close enough to justify the new machine which will arrive, by ship, in Houston Tuesday Does not include magnetic dust end. Local pickup only and it is about 800 lbs. 5

I had several contacts via FB marketplace but no serious buying conversations there. Full disclosure I had it priced at $3,500 on FB Marketplace and $3,100 on the guild and here. I got $3,100 which given the cost of my new one $6,800 is a pretty good deal for both the buyer and me as I paid $3,300 for the machine when I purchased it new 20 years ago. 3
