AlanWilley
I have just finished these beds for a customer of mine. They are built in Pine and have three drawers and a pull out below the bottom bunk. The beds dissasemble for transport and the frames are held together with coach bolts through tennons into the legs. There is a third rail in the centre for strength and the top bunk is held on top with 2" dowels which will have screws through to hold them in place. I did make a mistake in the height and didn't have enough room below for the pull out! I was 1" short so added some feet to the bottom and reduced the height of the top bunk by 1" that will teach me to measure twice.
