AlanWilley
I was asked to make a toybox seat for a customer. It was an urgent job as he wants to deliver it next week. After returning from the timber merchants at 10am this morning with a 10' x 2' laminated pine board I got building. By the end of the day around 7pm I had this completed: I still have to rout the childs name on it and add some soft close stays but was very pleased with what I had achieved in a day.
duckkisser
9 hours wow.....you should put off showing to the customer till the last second and then act as though you realy had to work day and night to get it done. they will be a little more apreciative i would think. robjeffking
Nice job quick question did you stack multiple dovetails to produce such a long joint?
AlanWilley
Sorry I didn't see this reply until now. I used the Dakota dovetail jig to cut those. The jig is only 15" long so I moved it along the timber lining up the cutter at the end of each piece.
