mds2
I made a few more planes last week. I have no idea what I am going to do with them, but I might as well show them to someone. Ziricote, bloodwood, cocobolo Lacewood, walnut, sapele Tiger maple, padauk, sapele. This one didnt turn out like I hoped it would. The tiger maple when it was raw was very beautiful. I used BLO as the finish hoping the it would make it pop out even more, but the exact opposite happened. If anyone can point me in the right direction please let me know. ChetlovesMer
Those are beautiful, I like the way you used the piece of Ziracote with the bit of discoloration. By the way, how do they cut?
mds2
The Ziricote one is the only one I've used. It works really well, I was kind of surprised.
