Calvin
Marc, thanks for making the video on the roubo build. Couldn't have done it otherwise since I didn't have the skill sets previously. No pics but everything on the bench works pretty good. Used construction lumber 2x6s primarily due to lack of quality wood in Hawaii. Biggest challenge was removing twist but the router sled idea worked really well to hog off most of the twist before sending it thru the jointer & planer. My bench don't look as nice as the others but I'm one happy camper today.

Darth Pugh
Congrats, Calvin. I'm really Jonesin' to get started on mine. I'm finishing some other projects that I have going on, but after the holidays I hope to get started on my bench.
Hodginator
Congrats Calvin. I'm in the middle of building mine now (working on the legs and following along with Marc's videos). Upload some pics of your bench so we can take a look.
Barron
What, you didn't use Koa? Congratulations on finishing the bench. I worked in a lumber yard in Kailua way back in the last century and still remember the great clear Doug fir and redwood we would get. If only my Dad would have let me use his garage to store it. Enjoy the new bench!
