gardnesd
Looks like an older version of Ridgid's 4330. Can't find the model # on the unit. It is a two blade deal I picked up for a sneeze with the stand. I know it's not the highest end planer but it fell into my lap. If anyone has this model helpful tips would be appreciated. Did you look at the underside of the planer for the model number and possibly the serial number?
gardnesd
Did you look at the underside of the planer for the model number and possibly the serial number? I figured it out. It is a TP1300. Interestingly, it is the discontinued home depot ridgid model that was picked up by Steel City and they added the helical cutting head. A good machine. Thinking about oredering the accu-head helical for it. But...$$$$$.

b33tl3
I have that same one. As for tips check your tables to make sure they are set right and then just go to town. The blades are revers-able so you can check to see if both sides are used. I have never had a single problem with it. I bought mine new about 8 or 9 years ago.
