flag display case

Traditionally, a veteran, upon retirement, receives a flag that has been flown over the nation's capitol.  I recently discovered that my father never received his flag upon retiring after 23 years in the Army.  Being active duty Air Force I felt it was my duty to remedy this situation.  I purchased a flag and requested it to be flown in an aircraft on a combat support mission over Afghanistan and got the certificate to authenticate it.  I got the display case idea, inspiration, and plan from John Nixon at eaglelakewoodworking.com.  Here's my rendition, out of walnut with maple keys.  The finish is good ole Arm-R-Seal.  Thanks for looking.
