taktines2
I have a Performax 16-32 drum sander and I was reading in the manual I'm supposed to lubricate the bushings on the conveyor belt motor. That is all it says, and I don't know if I'm supposed to pull them out and lubricate behind the bushing, or what. Also, what to use? A dry lube or what? Any advice would be appreciated, thanks! wdwerker
I squirt mine with the Bostick bearing lube using the little straw. Don't forget to lube the height screw and the track on either side. If you forget the aluminum threads can strip and it's a $100 part ( guess how I found that out). The white lithium grease with the little straw might work as well but it does leave a mess to either prevent or clean up.
