Tim Kohl
Made this mortise jig to use the bushing inserts and a 1/4 up spiral bit for my plunge router. I did not want to buy a edge guide and have to work around clamps holding stop blocks in place. If I missed anything please let me know.made 2 interchangeable panels, one to center a 1/4 by 1.5inch mortise on 3/4 stock the other to be 3/16 from edge. They have a backer and 2 alignment pins to secure in place on a 3/4"plywood which is clamped to bench.clamp work piece to plywood, align center marks and cut mortise. FtrPilot
Excellent design...well thought out. I used a similar type jig when I did the mortises for my Roubo workbench legs.
Tim Kohl
thank you all for comments. I have a short piece of t-trac that i'm thinking of installing, to use a stop block for batched mortises.
