Raefco Posted May 9, 2015 Report Share Posted May 9, 2015 Poly is a vague term use for many different finishes, care to elaborate? I use rattle can paint and clear coat in with a Medallion 2 part Urethane clear coat all the time, If you use a high grade top coat, the color or base type used don't matter as much. A good grade urethane clear will have a UV rating that will protect the base coat, inside or out. If you do not want to go with a high grade due to cost then why nor just clear coat it with a clear coat of the same brand and make up of what ever base coat you used? 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
