Corey Christensen
Hi All, I am in the process of building my first table. It will be made from reclaimed barn wood and 4x4 for the legs. I just picked up a Festool domino 500 on Craigslist will these dominos be strong enough for my apron and legs? The depth seems shallow but I was going to do a double tenon. I can't afford the Domino XL which I wanted and found the 500 for 600$ so grabbed it up. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!
wdwerker
Use 10 mm dominos , the longer version. It should work fine.
mkrusen
Like stated above, simply use the largest 10mm dominos and double them up. It'll work fine.
Eric.
You could always use integral tenons...
drzaius
Cutting the mortises & tenons is actually kinda fun & a great skill builder. But what am I saying? You've got a Domino, of course you're going to use that.
..Kev
Either Steve or Eric's suggestion would work.
