I think the shiny steel look will fit better with my fir bench, but if I want to do the flax seed oil treatment, I can always buy a couple new retaining pins. If things Turn out really awesome, I may have figure out how to fit my tablesaw top in the oven! Joraft Posted December 14, 2011 Report Share Posted December 14, 2011 I saw some of the "cooked" wheels at WIA, and I think they look great, so I'll be doing it. I've been seasoning my cast iron cookware for years, so I've got the basics down pretty well. Pre-heat the cast iron slightly to open the pores to the oil, spread the oil thin and evenly, and don't let the oven get too hot. That's about all there is to it!
