lawrence
As end-of-the-years gifts for my children's teachers LOML and I made them small (the paper is 5 x 7) journals. The first is to be given away tomorrow so I figured I'd better take pics tonight (we've only done the binding on one) The bindings are using a technique called "coptic stitching" and the paper is folded signatures made of drawing paper. Each book is personalized on the back with the teacher's name and the school name and LOML is including a hand-made card (she makes cards as well) The actual carving was done vector-style using corel draw and the DXF importer so they carved VERY quickly on some pieces of scrap I had laying around the shop. As always, thanks for commenting and looking- V/r Lawrence

Tom Crawford
That's really great. How thick are the wood 'covers', looks like about 1/4"?
