duckkisser
recently someone asked if there was a way to prevent ca finishes from sticking to your bushings for pen turnings well i found this in my new wood craft catalog. i dont know what thread it was on so i just made a new one. http://www.woodcraft.com/Product/2084563/43430/Hold-Fast-Non-Stick-Bushings-for-CA-Pen-Finishing.aspx
adambaum
While you can opt for fancy bushings, I just use regular wax on them. When I am done sanding, I put some wax between the bushing and the pen blank. Once everything is tightened down on the mandrel, i then use naphtha to clean everything leaving the wax at the intersection of bushing/blank. Works well for me.
